The product challenge
In a travel product, inspiration needs to lead to a decision: where to go, what it costs and which date works. People need trip conditions before booking, as well as attractive photographs.
What we built
- Connected trip discovery with search by date, price and activity format.
- Organised offer details and date selection as the next step towards booking.
- Connected the trip-selection journeys across the product’s web and mobile experiences.
Product decisions
From inspiration to search
The public description combines trip videos with discovery by date, price and format. These support different needs: finding a new destination and matching an existing set of constraints.
Details that support a decision
The trip screen published on Google Play presents an offer and date selection. For a similar product, availability, inclusions and cancellation rules need to be agreed before the booking journey is designed.
Web and mobile access
The project has a public website and an Android listing on Google Play. The website provides an entry point while the mobile interface supports returning to trip discovery on a phone.
The result
Damdaman has a live website and a published Android app. Search and trip details form a journey from destination discovery to date selection and booking. The app screens are available on Google Play.
Planning a similar product
Before building a booking service, define who updates availability, when a place becomes reserved and how cancellations work. These rules shape both the interface and its integrations.
